About the position

The Senior Designer at Sailrite will lead the design team in creating compelling visuals across various platforms, ensuring the highest standards of design are met. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity of Sailrite and its sub-brands, requiring a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation. The Senior Designer will collaborate with multiple teams, mentor junior designers, and stay updated with industry trends to incorporate the latest design techniques into their work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team in the creation of compelling visuals for a variety of platforms including digital, print, and social media.
• Develop and maintain the visual identity and branding guidelines of the company.
• Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and sales teams to create cohesive and effective design solutions.
• Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate the latest design techniques and technologies into the work.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior design role, preferably within a similar industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and exceptional visual design skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of web design, UX/UI principles, and experience with HTML/CSS is a plus.
