About the position

The Graphic Designer at Artex Signs & Graphics plays a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal of convenience stores and gas stations. The designer will work on both interior and exterior projects, ensuring that all designs are practical and meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design interior layouts and graphics for convenience stores and gas stations, including signage, wall graphics, and display elements.
• Develop eye-catching exterior signage that captures attention and adheres to branding guidelines and local regulations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their branding, design preferences, and project goals.
• Partner with project management and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and implemented flawlessly.
• Produce high-quality graphic assets for both print and digital platforms.
• Stay current with industry trends, incorporating innovative design techniques and materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design within the sign industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in Coreldraw and/or the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Deep understanding of branding principles and how to effectively apply them in design.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of signage materials, production processes, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with local signage regulations and permitting processes.
