About the position

The Graphic Designer position is a temporary role focused on creating print-ready files and digital images for publishing. The designer will work primarily with Adobe Creative Suite applications to produce high-quality graphics for books and other materials, ensuring that all designs meet publication standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating print-ready files for books.
• Producing print and digital publishing-ready images of forms.
• Designing title and cover pages for books.
• Developing binder and tab divider artwork.
• Updating black and white title pages and four-color covers for various CEB books.
• Routing designs for approval and preparing print-ready files, including adjusting spine width.
• Creating digital and print-ready GIFs of PDF forms for publication.
• Utilizing existing INDD templates to create customer letters for print.
• Preparing business card files for new employees using existing INDD templates.
• Administering the graphic image database: intake new images, input data into Smartsheet, and update existing data.

Requirements

• Deep experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Smartsheet project management software.
• Graduation from college with a major in Graphic Design.
