About the position

Billco International is a leader in the custom souvenir and gift design business, and we are seeking a talented graphic designer to join our in-house art department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative concepts, creating original designs, and producing illustrations for our diverse range of products. This role requires a deep understanding of visual communication and design principles, including color theory, visual organization, composition, and typography. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated project management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and superior organizational skills. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can provide quick sketches by hand as well as high-resolution finished digital illustrations. We are looking for someone who is extremely creative, able to think outside the box, and present fresh ideas that align with our brand's vision. In this role, you will be expected to juggle multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Being a team player is essential, as is being self-motivated with a sense of urgency to learn and succeed. Candidates with experience in designing or illustrating for the souvenir or giftware industry will be given preference. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong typography and illustration skills.
• Ability to render designs in various styles.
• Exceptional creativity and ability to think outside the box.
• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in graphic design for at least 1 year, preferably in the souvenir or giftware industry.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for at least 1 year.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
