Graphic Designer

About the position

As a Graphic Designer at RESCO, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creative team by designing visually compelling graphics for both print and digital media. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the marketing efforts of a family-owned business dedicated to the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and design visual content for various channels including social media, websites, marketing materials, and print.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Canva, and motion graphics software to produce high-quality designs.
• Develop and edit motion graphics and video content to enhance multimedia projects.
• Collaborate closely with the design team and other departments to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
• Maintain and adhere to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual materials.
• Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and improve designs.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and software advancements to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Requirements

• Associate 2-year degree or a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience in a design environment.
• Proficient on Macintosh platform; experience with Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with a team and independently.
• Must possess the ability to problem solve and make critical decisions.
• Must be self-motivated and can work with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Experience with Canva for quick design solutions.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics software (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI technologies (ie., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Generative Fill, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with motion graphics software (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
• Knowledge of AI technologies (ie., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Generative Fill, etc.).
