About the position

Big Frog Custom T-Shirts is seeking a motivated and energetic Graphic Designer Retail Associate. Big Frog is a retail concept in custom designed garments for anyone and everyone. Here at Big Frog, we are part of the community, working with businesses, schools, and individuals, creating custom personalized t-shirts (and polo's, sweatshirts, tote bags, and more!). We are looking for someone who has a customer focus - our staff works hard to make sure that all of our customers are happy, whether they want one shirt or 5000. As a Graphic Designer you must present a portfolio of work and be well-versed in at least a few of the following programs: PhotoShop, Illustrator, or CorelDraw. Prior graphics work experience is required and printing or custom industry experience is a plus. This position receives direction from the Owner and Operations Managers and works side by side with the other Graphic Designers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their design needs.
• Utilize graphic design software to create custom designs for clients.
• Manage time and ongoing projects effectively to meet deadlines.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, including managing incoming inventory.
• Perform customer follow-ups and reach out to potential new customers to drive sales.
• Inspire and motivate team members to work towards a common vision and purpose.
• Make confident decisions that affect the store's success when dealing with customers.
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to track customer transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and familiar with vector graphics.
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills.
• Portfolio of work (website or other).
• Basic math skills necessary.
• Driver's License (Required).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in custom or print industry (1 year preferred).
• Retail experience (1 year preferred).
