About the position

The Graphic Designer will join a creative team focused on the beauty industry, responsible for creating visually appealing graphics and layouts for various projects. This role requires collaboration with other designers and the marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Designer. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in design principles, image manipulation, and typography, with experience in large format, trade show design, digital design, and packaging design.

Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing graphics, photos, and layouts for marketing materials, prints, digital assets, website assets, social media content, and packaging.
• Design materials for trade show exhibitions, including booth design, displays, and promotional items.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling designs that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Create and update packaging design for private labeling.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms, ensuring brand coherence and recognition.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate innovative ideas into design projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and demonstrating creativity.
• Comfortable in both a corporate and creative setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of web design principles and experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Experience with motion graphics and 3D rendering is a plus.
