The Graphic Designer will be the lead creative resource for Philips North American Marketing, conceptualizing creative storytelling elements and executing on creative projects with the team. In this role, you will be the design expert in the room, unlocking what is possible from a design perspective in team, program, campaign, and content planning. Your primary responsibility will be to tell visual stories through design that engage both prospects and customers alike. You will conceive, create, and drive design solutions for projects of all types and sizes, ensuring that the Philips visual identity is cohesively represented across large integrated campaigns, single asset creation, and sales-focused deliverables. Additionally, you will bring new design types to Philips' marketing programs, including infographics, animated graphics, and more. Collaboration is key; you will partner beyond the creative brief, working with internal stakeholders from marketing, sales, and other organizations to understand the opportunities for creative pieces that can delight in the market. Managing your workstream effectively is crucial, as you will need to keep track of projects, deadlines, and reviews while cataloging all artwork and designs for easy referencing and repurposing. This position requires a Bachelor's or Liberal Arts degree in graphic design, visual design, communications design, art direction, or a related field, combined with 5+ years of work experience as a designer, art director, or in a similar role, preferably with an agency background. You should possess creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to distill complex concepts into simple, thoughtful designs. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to project manage work with tight deadlines. A team player attitude and a quick learning ability are also important, as you will need to provide and accept feedback and reprioritize your workload when necessary. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint, is required.
