About the position

The Graphic Designer at Mohawk Industries is responsible for creating visually appealing designs for various printed and multimedia projects. This role involves collaborating with creative teams to develop original concepts, ensuring brand consistency, and managing design projects from inception to execution. The designer will stay updated on design trends and software advancements while working in a team environment to enhance the company's image and designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with art/creative directors, video managers, copywriters, and product marketing teams to brainstorm and develop original design concepts for print, digital, and social media campaigns.
• Design a wide range of creative assets, including logos, brochures, presentations, social media graphics, trade media ads, digital media ads, sales sheets, product labels, carton art and more.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design elements, adhering to brand style guides for Mohawk, Karastan and Pergo.
• Create and manage design projects from initial concept to final execution, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
• Stay ahead of the latest design trends and software advancements.
• Review proofs to ensure that all specifications are met, making modifications as necessary to enhance the appearance of the project and/or to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Work in a team environment to contribute ideas for concept development and refine aspects of all jobs within the department.
• Research and monitor design trends to sharpen skills and enhance the Company's image and designs.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in a related field, preferably in Art or Design.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible job-specific work experience.
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, Web design (XD or Figma).
• 3D design experience is a plus, as well as experience in Adobe Workfront.
• Exceptional presentation design skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Keynote.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience and understanding of graphic illustration and art design principles.

• Experience in 3D design is a plus.
• Experience in Adobe Workfront is a plus.
