About the position

The Graphic Designer position at Cenikor involves creating innovative graphic designs across various media to support the organization's mission of service to others. This part-time role requires collaboration with the marketing team and other departments to ensure designs align with organizational standards and brand expectations. Responsibilities

  • Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
  • Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately.
  • Work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects.
  • Update and maintain internal databases for designs, templates, photography, and video.
  • Work with various departments to ensure alignment and promotion of priority items.
  • Participate in bi-weekly calls with outside marketing agencies, providing input on paid social campaigns and other initiatives.
  • Uphold the core principles of Cenikor's culture and create a positive working environment for all team members.
  • Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadline and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all client, staff and Foundation matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the non-exempt functions as defined in this job description.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Art or related discipline preferred.
  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • Four or more years of experience with design software including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.
  • Photography or videography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organization skills required.
  • Ability to work with tenacity and resilience to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with a non-profit organization preferred.
