About the position

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. This role primarily involves creating digital brochures, white papers, web assets, and PowerPoint presentations for our clients in the telecom and software development sectors. You will also be working on production work, resizing banners, and storyboarding, while adhering to brand guidelines. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and designing digital brochures and white papers, creating web assets and PowerPoint presentations, and carrying out production work in accordance with project briefs and timelines. Additionally, the role includes resizing banners to fit different platforms and specifications, storyboarding to visualize the sequence of graphics and illustrations, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines while executing design tasks. The designer will utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other design tools to create visuals, work on design controls to ensure consistency and accuracy in designs, create advertisements and banner ads to support marketing campaigns, and contribute to brand awareness through effective and creative designs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing digital brochures and white papers for clients in the telecom and software development sectors
• Creating web assets and PowerPoint presentations as part of the design process
• Carrying out production work in accordance with project briefs and timelines
• Resizing banners to fit different platforms and specifications
• Storyboarding to visualize the sequence of graphics and illustrations
• Adhering to brand guidelines while executing design tasks
• Utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other design tools to create visuals
• Working on design controls to ensure consistency and accuracy in designs

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with emphasis on Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
• Proven ability to design and create engaging advertisements and banner ads.
• Demonstrated experience in promoting brand awareness through creative design.
• Capable of designing and producing brochures for various purposes.
• Familiarity with design controls and ability to apply them in various design projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality graphic design work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality design.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
