The Graphic Designer position is a temporary, full-time role within the Enrollment Management department at UNC Charlotte. This position is designed to support the creative efforts of Enrollment Programs & Communications (EPC) by designing digital and print materials that aid in recruitment and enrollment initiatives. The Graphic Designer will work closely with campus partners and utilize project management tools to ensure timely delivery of design projects. The role requires a commitment to customer service and teamwork, as well as the ability to develop and execute original design concepts using Adobe Creative Suite products, including Illustrator and InDesign. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing materials that align with the university's branding and communication strategies. This includes designing brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and other promotional materials. The position also involves assisting with content creation efforts across Enrollment Management, ensuring that all materials are engaging and effective in reaching target audiences. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in professional training and career development opportunities, enhancing their skills and experience in the field of graphic design. This role is based in the Barnard Building and follows a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. The position is expected to last for approximately six months, with a proposed hire date of September 23, 2024. Candidates should be aware that while full-time temporary employees are eligible for a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), they do not receive leave accrual or retirement entitlement benefits.
