About the position

As a Graphic Designer at Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our brand. This position requires a creative individual who can work collaboratively with various teams across the organization to produce compelling content that effectively communicates DMG's brand, mission, and vision. You will have the opportunity to showcase your artistic skills and contribute to the visual storytelling of our company, which is dedicated to providing facility maintenance services to retail chains and distribution centers nationwide. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and designing a wide range of content for various platforms, including social media, video graphics, environmental graphics, digital signage, presentations, and branded company materials. You will collaborate closely with the marketing department and other teams to create engaging visuals that align with DMG's brand standards and strategic objectives. Your work will include the creation, update, and enhancement of sales materials, ensuring that all design work is completed on time and meets project specifications and quality standards. You will also design print materials such as posters, banners, and postcards, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines. Staying up to date with industry trends and incorporating innovative design practices into your work will be essential. Additionally, you will support other marketing and communications activities and priorities within the department, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design a variety of content for different platforms, including social media, video graphics, environmental graphics, digital signage, presentations, and branded company materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to produce engaging visuals that align with DMG's brand standards and strategic objectives.
  • Support the creation, update, and enhancement of sales materials, including presentations, one pagers, and other marketing collateral.
  • Design print materials such as posters, banners, post cards, and other printed media, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Translate complex ideas and concepts into visually appealing and accessible graphics.
  • Ensure all design work is completed on time and adheres to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices into your work.
  • Support other marketing and communications activities and priorities within the department.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of proven graphic design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Art, Digital Media, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design formats and styles is required.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite - specifically PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience in designing for both digital and print media.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute unique ideas.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.

Nice-to-haves
