About the position

Opici Wine and Spirits is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer to join their marketing team. This role involves developing visually stunning graphics that enhance brand identity and effectively communicate messages to the audience. The designer will collaborate with various teams to create designs for packaging, promotional materials, and digital content, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create and design visually appealing graphics for wine labels, brochures, sell sheets, advertisements, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for campaigns, events, and product launches.
  • Produce high-quality visual content for social media, email marketing, and website updates, including animations, infographics, and promotional videos.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across all marketing materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor designs, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions.
  • Collaborate with printers and suppliers to ensure quality control during the production process.
  • Develop graphics that effectively tell the story of the wines, enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Design promotional materials for events such as tastings, festivals, and trade shows.
  • Work with sales, product development, and other departments to create cohesive marketing materials.
  • Seek feedback from peers and stakeholders on design effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity, particularly in packaging and branding.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and requirements.
