About the position

Merchant Industry is seeking a skilled Jr. Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This role involves creating original marketing materials and supporting the Direct Sales team, allowing for creative input and nationwide visibility of your work. The position is ideal for someone with a strong background in graphic design and a passion for marketing.

Responsibilities

• Create digital designs for various marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media graphics.
• Contribute to layout, typography, and photography decisions.
• Support executive leadership team with special marketing projects.
• Produce high-quality materials while adhering to brand guidelines and project deadlines.
• Assist in the development of presentations and pitch materials.
• Work with the direct sales team to provide ongoing technical assistance with marketing software and iPads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design strongly preferred
• 2+ years' experience in an internship or entry-level graphic design role
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
• Familiarity with online marketing software like Hubspot, Mailchimp
• Essential web design experience using WordPress and its plugins
• Experience with copywriting
• Highly collaborative and willingness to learn
