About the position

Gotham West Studios is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on creating visually engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and enhances the reach and impact of their podcasts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, contributing creatively to the growth of the podcast industry.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing materials, including podcast cover art, social media graphics, and promotional content for various platforms.
• Collaborate with the production and marketing teams to create visually appealing assets for podcasts, merchandise, and events.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual content.
• Support the creation of digital and print collateral, including brochures, posters, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in conceptualizing and designing logos and graphics for new podcasts or rebranding projects.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the Gotham West Studios team.

Requirements

• Proficiency with graphic design tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong sense of typography, color theory, and visual composition.
• Enthusiasm for podcasts and a desire to contribute creatively to the growth of the industry.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality design standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with animation or motion graphics is a plus.
• Familiarity with video editing software and tools, such as Adobe Premiere or After Effects, is an advantage.
• Understanding of social media trends and the ability to create content tailored to different platforms.
