About the position

The Graphic Designer position is a contract-to-hire role based in Greensboro, North Carolina, focused on creating and managing design assets for various channels. The designer will work collaboratively within a team to deliver compelling design solutions while ensuring adherence to brand and packaging standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create a diverse range of design assets from concept to completion across various channels such as packaging, sales materials, marketing campaigns, and more.
  • Collaborate with a team of designers to deliver compelling design solutions.
  • Maintain brand and packaging standards with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects with overlapping due dates to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop design solutions for packaging systems, including segmentation, color palettes, icons, and treatments.
  • Produce digital-ready and print-ready production art files.
  • Build 2D and 3D image assets that reflect the application of concepts.
  • Deliver assets and presentation decks following established templates.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud programs -- InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop -- to create and edit designs.
  • Work with print vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop is required.
  • Experience in creating advertisements to increase brand awareness.
  • Ability to design brochures, flyers, and other print materials.
  • Skilled in digital design, including email design, social media graphics, and landing page design.
  • Familiarity with packaging and labeling design, including design packages and packaging design.
  • Proficient in the use of design techniques for 2D drawing and 2D illustration.
  • Knowledge of 3D design techniques.
  • Experience in creating presentation graphics and display advertising.
  • Ability to create digital designs suitable for various platforms.
  • Extensive understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Experience in creating social media graphics to engage online audiences.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong creative abilities to design visually appealing graphics.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and ability to incorporate these into designs.
