About the position

The Graphic Designer position at Parsons involves creating engaging designs for both digital and print media, with a focus on large format print jobs. The ideal candidate will possess strong creative skills and a portfolio that showcases their expertise in illustrative design and typography. This role requires collaboration with various team members to ensure cohesive campaign execution and adherence to branding guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Creates print materials such as brochures, flyers, cut sheets, posters, and banners.
  • Implements UI/UX strategies to improve user interaction across digital products.
  • Ensures all designs are consistent with the company's branding guidelines and visual identity.
  • Provides design support for presentations, proposals, and other business development activities.
  • Works closely with graphic designers, content writers, multimedia specialists, social media managers, and campaign managers to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution and digital and print experiences.
  • Utilizes graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit designs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate marketing or communications team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Design, or a related field such as visual communication or visual marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging designs for both digital and print media.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in UI/UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and user research.
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Figma.
