About the position

Waggz Inc. is seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to enhance its brand presence in the pet grooming industry. The role involves creating engaging marketing materials, managing email campaigns, and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure consistent visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company's innovative approach to pet grooming solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute marketing materials, including social media posts, Google ads, and email graphics.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms.
  • Support the development and maintenance of brand assets for consistent visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver compelling visuals and emails that align with campaign objectives.
  • Contribute to website updates, creating visually engaging content and implementing basic HTML when needed.
  • Edit and update graphics for ongoing projects, organizing files for a streamlined workflow.
  • Create and edit simple videos for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with planning and creating original content, ensuring assets are stored and cataloged meticulously.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Figma.
  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing tools.
  • Basic proficiency in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Basic HTML skills to support content formatting and web updates.
  • Proven experience in generating original ideas and creating assets for social media, email campaigns, and web.
  • 2+ years in graphic design and/or email marketing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong teamwork skills, adaptable to a collaborative and evolving setting.
  • Ability to work independently with effective time management and follow-through.
