About the position

Join our creative team as a Graphic Designer & Paginator, where you will play a crucial role in designing and paginating monthly newspapers for various communities. This part-time, contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your skills in layout design and graphic artistry.

Responsibilities

• Design and paginate monthly newspapers for 20 communities and assist with online versions.
• Complete layouts from start to finish, including photography, typography, and design elements to create a cohesive look.
• Prepare artwork for both print and digital formats, ensuring consistency with our design standards.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with Adobe InDesign, including expertise in mockups, web design, and multimedia presentations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.) and Google Suite.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Receptive to feedback and willing to collaborate with a team.
• Expertise in layout design, color theory, and typography.
