About the position

ANSER is seeking a senior graphic designer to support the CHIPS Research and Development Office (CRDO). This role involves creating a variety of graphic materials and providing design services for communications, outreach, and marketing efforts related to programmatic endeavors. The designer will be responsible for developing design strategies, branding, and both digital and printed assets, while also enhancing stakeholder engagement through effective visual communication.

Responsibilities

• Recommend overall organization and layout, editorial standards, publication methods, and the like.
• Coordinate publications with outside sources as needed.
• Ensure technical documentation is accurate and complete, meeting editorial guidelines and government specifications.
• Design and develop graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, manuals, and other publications.
• Select type, draw lettering, lay out material, or perform related duties.
• Determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the desired effect and conform to reproduction requirements.
• Coordinate branding and design activities with appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate degree in graphic design, marketing, fine art or similarly related discipline.
• 5 or more years progressive and relevant experience in graphic design.
• Hands-on expertise using Adobe Creative Suite design software or other similar design software and web, multimedia, and video tools.
• Demonstrated familiarity with image manipulation and desktop layouts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience/knowledge of budgeting, contracting, and financial management.
• Experience/knowledge of supporting policy and process improvement activities.
