About the position

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (JFED) is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join its Marketing & Communications team. This role focuses on leveraging design skills to promote the organization's mission to the South Jersey Jewish community and its stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional and digital design, including website management, and will be comfortable with technology and learning new software. The position offers opportunities for skill diversification, project management, and the chance to make a significant impact within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the JFED brand across both print and digital media.
• Develop and design print and digital media, including invitations, flyers, programs, signs, banners, annual reports, brochures, direct mail solicitations, and newspaper ads.
• Manage content on JFED websites and assist with website coding as needed.
• Assist with the development of marketing campaigns for JFED events, community outreach, education, and funds development.
• Develop and manage branding for JFED departments and smaller agencies.

Requirements

• Experience in graphic design and/or multimedia communications, either professionally or as a volunteer.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing software, video editing software, website content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and project-related issues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with funds development and/or copy-editing.
• Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, including layouts, typography, line composition, and color.
