About the position

Sideshow is seeking a hybrid Graphic Designer to join their Graphic Arts Department, responsible for creating digital and print collateral for various initiatives. The role involves collaboration with the design team and other departments to produce high-quality graphics for product releases, events, and marketing materials, while adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining operational transparency.

Responsibilities

• Support and work closely with fellow design team staff.
• Timely creation of digital design collateral, including graphics for product releases, events, the website, social media, email, and more.
• Ability to retouch photography and mask images in Photoshop.
• Design print collateral for postcards, stickers, swag, physical banners, and more.
• Support other departments with various graphic and marketing requests.
• Manage multiple priorities, anticipate demands, communicate status appropriately, and maintain a high level of operational transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in an agency or in-house design department preferred.
• Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign on a MAC platform.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
• Ability to follow brand style guides while keeping graphics fresh.
• Strong grasp of typography and passion for delivering excellent design.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and processes is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of designers or self-manage with little direction.
• Self-motivator who can push themselves creatively and own their vision from conceptualization to implementation.
