About the position

Navajo Incorporated is seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a focus on packaging and a passion for electronic accessories to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative packaging designs using existing templates while also having the capability to develop new templates as needed. This role requires a strong understanding of pre-press file setup for both internal and external production environments, ensuring that all designs are print-ready and meet industry standards. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Graphic Designer will work closely with the marketing team to enhance and upgrade the brand's visual identity. This includes applying branding best practices to all design projects and ensuring consistency across various platforms. The designer will also be tasked with assembling various design elements, such as icons and photographs, into cohesive presentations that effectively communicate the brand's message. In addition to packaging, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining the product catalog, which includes both digital and print formats. The role may also involve designing signage and marketing materials for special events. The successful candidate will be a creative thinker, capable of exploring intuitive solutions to design challenges, and will possess a strong portfolio that showcases their design process and decision-making skills. A sense of humor and the ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential attributes for this role.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging designs using existing templates and develop new templates as needed.
• Set up files for pre-press in both internal and external environments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on brand improvements and upgrades.
• Assemble design elements such as icons and photographs for presentations.
• Create, update, and maintain the product catalog in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Design signage and special venue marketing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or certificate in graphic design or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, particularly with mockups and presentations.
• Strong understanding of branding and industry branding guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized individual capable of balancing multiple deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a passion for good design.

Nice-to-haves

• Some experience with 3-D rendering software.
• Curiosity and willingness to ask questions to improve skills.
