About the position

As a Graphic Production Designer at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play a crucial role in our Corporate Communications design team, providing essential marketing and branding support for our luxury Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities across the nation. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fully in-office environment in Houston, Texas, as we believe that in-person collaboration fosters creativity and innovation. You will be engaged in a fast-paced, high-volume production-oriented environment where you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include creating a variety of marketing materials such as flyers, postcards, posters, web graphics, and landing pages/forms to promote company events and initiatives. You will also support the production of print advertisements, ensuring that all files meet technical specifications and adhere to brand guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of both print and digital media, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with team members and external vendors to coordinate printing and ensure brand consistency across all projects. In addition to your design responsibilities, you will be tasked with editing, retouching, and resizing photos for promotional materials, producing both static and animated digital advertisements, and archiving files according to departmental protocols. Your creative vision and proactive approach will be essential in supporting the marketing efforts of Belmont Village Senior Living, making a significant impact on our communities and the residents we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Create flyers, postcards, posters, web graphics, landing pages/forms to promote company events, initiatives and services
  • Support the production of print advertisements in formatting, versioning, and ensuring that files meet technical specifications
  • Provide support in editing and ordering flyers, forms, emails, postcards, posters, T-shirts, large graphic promotions, etc. to promote company events, initiatives and services
  • Edit, retouch and resize photos as needed for use in promotional materials
  • Follow brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all projects
  • Coordinate printing with external vendors as needed
  • Produce both static/animated digital advertisements
  • Archive files within department standard protocols
  • Assist with web edits as it pertains to company events

Requirements

  • Associates degree in graphic design, advertising or communications field that requires design
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Ability to thrive and be productive in a fast-paced, high volume production-oriented environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of both print and digital media
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
  • Mac proficient

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising or communications field that requires design
  • Experience working within an Email/CRM platform (HubSpot, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact) is preferred
  • 3-5 years of related work experience preferred
  • Experience in Adobe After Effects is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing and proofreading
