About the position

The Graphic/Web Designer position at Rio Grande involves creating engaging designs for various marketing campaigns and web content. The designer will be responsible for executing designs that align with the company's branding and marketing strategies, contributing to both digital and print projects.

Responsibilities

• Web design for landing pages, email blasts, digital ads, and websites.
• Produce emails, banners, and website designs using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Utilize design thinking and branding to create a seamless customer experience across platforms.
• Create designs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign.
• Design digital ads for social media platforms.
• Apply layout principles, aesthetic, design concepts, and typography effectively.
• Conceptualize designs based on marketing direction.
• Create engaging B2B content.
• Design print materials such as publication ads, brochures, and posters.
• Execute designs and concepts from direction provided by the Marketing Director, Art Director, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3 years of design experience.
• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3 to current standards.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Lightroom).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment of change.
• Strong grasp of design principles and design thinking.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a participative management culture.
• Organized and deadline-driven work ethic.
• Ability to learn and follow brand guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in an Agile project management environment.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• UI/UX training and experience.
• Experience with CMS platforms (Magento, Sitecore, WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).
• Knowledge of email marketing automation.
• Experience with Sales CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.).
• Knowledge of Account Based Marketing.
