About the position

Tethos Creative is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic & Web Designer to join our dynamic team in Santa Ana, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with proficiency in creating brands, websites, marketing collateral, and layouts. You will be working on a diverse range of projects for a variety of clients across different industries, which will require you to think outside the box and collaborate effectively with our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the layout and design of business and marketing materials, both web and print, adhering to established brand and production standards. You will design and implement websites and landing pages, as well as create web and press-ready files for new and existing designs. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is essential, as you will need to meet deadlines while juggling tasks for different clients. Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills are crucial for success in this position. Excellent communication and responsiveness are also key attributes we are looking for in our ideal candidate. This position starts at 10-20 hours per week on a part-time basis, with the potential for a full-time salaried position with benefits after a probationary period. Competitive pay will be based on job start and completion rates. Please note that submissions without a portfolio and at least three years of professional experience will not be reviewed. Qualified candidates will be required to complete a production test.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of business and marketing web and print materials to established brand and production standards
• Design and implement websites and landing pages
• Implement content into existing web and press frameworks
• Design web and press ready files for new and existing designs
• Design web pages, videos, and packaging assets

Requirements

• Advanced experience in the Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience in online site platforms (Squarespace, Wordpress, Hubspot, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Knowledge of print requirements
• Proficiency in Word or Mac Office Suite
• Ability to work with a creative team, take direction, be flexible with assignments and revisions, and design along existing brand guides
• High attention to detail, organized, and can manage time, meet deadlines and work efficiently
• Excellent communication and responsiveness
• Aptitude and willingness to learn
• Three (3) years of working experience (agency or freelance) in graphic design at minimum

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with 3D applications
• After Effects animation/motion graphics
• Video editing in Premiere
