About the position
The Graphics/Multimedia Specialist at The Wolverine Group is responsible for designing and developing multimedia applications and systems for a large federal government agency. This role involves utilizing current technology and software applications to create engaging content for internet-based social media and other platforms. The specialist will work on various projects that require proficiency in traditional fine arts and familiarity with emerging AI design software.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop multimedia applications, systems, and products for internet-based social media.
- Create computer graphics and interactive computing systems for personal computers or CD-ROM applications.
- Incorporate software applications in multiple technology media systems, including graphics, animation, text, and sound.
- Develop concepts and storyboards, gain approval, and select the most effective production medium.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience in graphics and multimedia design.
- Proficiency in traditional fine arts skills, including free-hand drawing and painting.
- Understanding of art fundamentals such as lighting, color, form, and 3D shapes.
- Familiarity with emerging AI design software and working knowledge of 3D software.
- TS/SCI clearance required.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to work nonstandard hours and be on-call for periods of time.
- Some travel may be required.
