About the position

The Graphics QA Engineer at Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of graphics products through rigorous testing and troubleshooting. This role involves designing and maintaining test automation software, reporting defects, and improving product quality to enhance customer satisfaction. The engineer will work with various operating systems and graphics tools to meet quality standards and deliver results on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows XP/Vista/Win7 32/64-bit issues/defects with professional graphics cards.
• Identify and resolve problems, performing triage and debug work.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain functionality of test automation software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Perl, Visual Basic, and C++ test scripts.
• Report reproduced defects characterized in terms of environment, rates, and configurations into a bug tracking database.
• Communicate technical information to vendors.
• Set up test systems to meet exact quality standards and configurations.
• Improve workstation graphics product quality and customer satisfaction by meeting all deliverables on schedule and budget.
• Prioritize 32/64-bit graphics testing/qualification on mobile and desktop platforms according to agreed test matrices and priorities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Graphics Test Suite (GTS) tools.
• Experience troubleshooting Windows XP/Vista/Win7 32/64-bit issues with professional graphics cards.
• Proficiency in Perl, Visual Basic, and C++ for test automation software development.
• Ability to report and communicate technical defects effectively.
