About the position
The Graphics Specialist II position at Snohomish County Public Works is a vital role within the Communications Team, focusing on public outreach for various Public Works projects and services. The successful candidate will utilize graphic design software and techniques to create engaging materials that promote the department's initiatives and enhance public awareness.
Responsibilities
- Utilize graphics programs, software, and equipment such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Canva, and StoryMap.
- Produce brochures, pamphlets, electronic media, and audiovisual presentations using various methods and techniques.
- Exhibit knowledge of graphic art techniques, photographic techniques, consumer/market research methods, and video editing techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to produce video products for display, web, social media, and government cable channel programs.
Requirements
- Strong graphics and video editing skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with graphic design software and production equipment.
