The Community Support Specialist position is a graveyard shift role within the Residential (Pathways) department, with a salary range of $21.54 to $28.71 per hour. This position requires a commitment to providing direct client services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or addiction issues who reside in the agency's residential facilities. As a Community Support Specialist, you will teach activities of daily living such as housekeeping, cooking, personal hygiene, and personal finance. You must possess the knowledge and abilities to model appropriate interpersonal and vocational skills and behaviors. The role also requires the ability to effectively manage high-stress situations, handle unusual human behavior, and resolve conflicts. Reliable transportation, a good driving record, a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance are essential for this position.
