About the position
High Standard Home Care is seeking experienced Bengali-speaking Home Health Aides (HHA's) to provide essential care to patients in Kew Gardens, NY. The role involves assisting patients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling options and competitive pay starting at $20 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Home Health Aide certification is required.
- Experience in home health care is preferred.
- Ability to speak Bengali fluently is required.
- Valid Driver's License is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and nights.
