About the position
The Green Infrastructure Project Manager at NV5 is responsible for leading planning and design projects focused on green infrastructure, public spaces, and sustainable community development. This role involves collaboration with various engineering and design teams, project management, and business development to enhance public spaces and improve community quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and conceptual design studies, including high-level analysis and technical report writing.
- Oversee the progression from schematic design to final construction documentation.
- Perform technical reviews of design deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and permit applications.
- Mentor junior staff members in their professional development.
- Manage project budgets, workload projections, schedules, and invoicing.
- Collaborate with landscape architects, transportation engineers, and other technical experts.
- Coordinate with internal project teams and external stakeholders, including public agencies and clients.
- Engage in business development activities, including networking and proposal writing.
Requirements
- P.E. License required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant design experience.
- Project management experience is essential.
- Proficiency in necessary software and modeling programs.
- Strong interest in multi-disciplined public space design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
