About the position
The Greenskeeper position at BrightView involves maintaining the grounds of golf courses, ensuring they are in optimal condition for play. This part-time role focuses on various tasks related to the upkeep of the course, including daily maintenance and monitoring of facilities.
Responsibilities
- Changing cup locations on all greens daily or as directed by supervisor
- Servicing all teeing ground stations on course, including moving markers and sand/seeding divots
- Removing broken tees and trash from receptacles
- Maintaining ball-washers with water and soap
- Policing trash from the golf course during daily travel
- Daily monitoring of traffic control devices on the golf course
- Daily cleaning and stocking of restrooms
- Occasional picking up of leaves, trash, and cut grass
- Operating various vehicles for daily bunker raking activities
- Mowing small turf areas using small push power mowers
- Applying irrigation to the golf course as directed by a supervisor
Requirements
- Ability to perform regular light lifting up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions including rain, cold, sun, or night
- Capability for repetitive movements such as twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, standing, walking, and sitting
