The Greenskeeper at Shadow Creek Golf Course plays a vital role in maintaining the golf course and its surrounding areas, ensuring that the grounds are in pristine condition for guests and players. This position involves operating various types of equipment, performing daily maintenance tasks, and reporting any safety issues that may arise. The Greenskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of all golf course grounds and property perimeters, which includes mowing, trimming, and raking to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the course. Daily responsibilities include the operation of mowing equipment and other trimming devices, as well as the maintenance of all equipment and facilities according to management standards. This includes ensuring proper storage, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance on a daily basis. The Greenskeeper must also be vigilant in reporting any equipment problems and safety issues to management to ensure a safe working environment. Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for this role, as is the ability to provide excellent customer service and interact positively with all business contacts. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in golf course maintenance. The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and a valid driver's license is necessary for operating equipment and vehicles on the course.

Responsibilities

  • Operate mowing equipment and trimming devices.
