The Greeter/Concierge position at Ochsner Health System involves welcoming patients, family members, and visitors to the medical center, ensuring a positive first impression and assisting them in navigating the facility. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and support to enhance the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greets patients/visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assists patients in/out of vehicles safely.
- Directs patients/visitors to appropriate departments and answers questions accurately.
- Works with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors.
- Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner.
- Participates in activities for personnel development and required training.
- Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and communication styles.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write to communicate and give instructions to patients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good judgment skills.
- Telephone skills.
