About the position

The Greeter (Host/Hostess) position is a permanent, full-time role responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers at a restaurant. The role involves managing customer seating, providing menus, and ensuring that guests receive attentive service throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the restaurant and create a positive service environment.
• Answer questions as customers are seated and ensure they receive attentive service.
• Assign patrons to tables based on their needs and server rotation.
• Provide guests with menus upon seating.
• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls as needed.
• Maintain a wait list of patrons during busy meal service.

Requirements

• 6 months of experience in a related field.
• Organized, responsible, and reliable demeanor.
• Customer service skills are a plus.

Benefits
