About the position

The Grill Cook position at Eurest involves preparing and serving food at the grill station while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring high-quality service. The role requires efficient order taking and food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and resolving customer concerns in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service.
• Responsible for records from the area worked during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations safely.
• Stores foods in designated areas following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisors.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High-volume cooking experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety essentials is required.
