About The Position
The Grinder position involves performing belt grinding operations to remove gates from various product castings under limited supervision. The role requires attention to detail to ensure the smoothness and blending of surfaces while maintaining the integrity of casting features. The Grinder will work with abrasive belts and discs, set up grinding jigs, and check parts for close tolerances using precision measuring tools.
