Responsibilities

• Assist aerial crews in various aspects of line maintenance, repair, and construction.
• Perform various aerial construction labor including preparing and assembling line apparatus.
• Utilize equipment to install ground rods and anchors.
• Assist in hoisting aerial poles and operating various types of construction equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring job site cleanliness.
• Maintain proper inventory on the vehicle based on daily work assignments.
• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lashers, and chainsaws.
• Ensure job site safety and set up a safe perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers; flag traffic when required.
• Perform heavy lifting and manipulate lasher and other cable placement equipment as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Entry level manual labor position; prior construction experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
