The Grounds Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Supervisor to deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services. This entry-level position focuses on productivity and profitability while ensuring that all tasks are performed to company standards. The role involves working as part of a crew to provide a variety of grounds care services across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in delivering high-quality grounds services.
- Work as part of a grounds care crew providing maintenance services.
- Communicate effectively with management, peers, supervisors, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain trucks and equipment to company standards.
- Follow and promote company safety rules.
- Ensure work is performed in a productive manner.
- Develop skills and knowledge related to grounds maintenance.
Requirements
- Ability to pass Federal eligibility requirements.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Transportation to and from job site is required.
- Ability to work outdoors and remain on feet for most of the workday.
- Knowledge and ability to operate basic landscape maintenance equipment.
