About The Position
The position involves maintaining the cleanliness of Santa Cruz Seaside Company property and the City of Santa Cruz Main Beach. The role requires support for various departments, including tasks such as digging, sandblasting, demolishing projects, moving office furniture and files, and hauling materials. Class B drivers will operate the garbage truck to off-site dumps and may be required to clean up blood or bodily fluids. The job requires wearing a company-issued uniform and involves outdoor work, with shifts starting as early as 4:00 a.m. Employees must be able to work 7 days a week and may be exposed to dust and chemical fumes. Full-time employees must possess and maintain a Class B driver's license and are subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing.
