About the position
The Grounds Technician - Multifamily at Hines is responsible for maintaining the property grounds and amenities to ensure they meet company standards. This role involves cleaning, minor maintenance, and supporting the service team while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Examine the property to remove litter, debris, and other items to maintain cleanliness.
- Inform appropriate contacts and supervisors of potential hazards and harmful situations.
- Remove trash debris from apartments prior to occupancy and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
- Complete minor and routine service requests and assist other team members as needed.
- Support cost-cutting and expense control programs by verifying repair parts.
- Respond to questions and complaints from residents and service members respectfully.
- Distribute communications and information to residents.
- Ensure safety information is current and accessible, complying with OSHA and safety laws.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One or more years of related experience preferred.
- Driver's license to operate machinery on property.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, and strong multitasking abilities.
