About the position
The Groundskeeper position at St. Ann's Community involves assisting with routine maintenance and construction projects on the grounds of the St. Ann's Home. This part-time and per diem role focuses on ensuring the facility is well-maintained and visually appealing, contributing to the overall care of the community.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Groundleader or Facilities Manager with routine maintenance and construction projects.
- Observe the facility for areas in need of repair or cleaning, and address them as possible or report to supervisory staff.
- Shovel and plow snow as required.
- Mow, seed, rake, water, fertilize, and weed lawns.
- Plant, transplant, and prune trees, shrubbery, and flowers.
- Pick up grounds as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year related experience or training in construction and/or maintenance repair, preferably in lawn and landscaping.
