Requirements

• Facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field, or groundskeeping/landscaping experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic finishing a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with issues.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Maintains grounds of outside property as assigned, including parking lot, landscape areas, garage, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, etc.
• Performs minor repairs of asphalt or concrete.
• Performs directional signage repair.
• Paints parking lot stripes, curbs, etc.
• Cleans grounds and removes litter as needed.
• Responsible for safe and efficient use of heavy equipment and machinery, including sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, pressure washers, and aerial man lifts.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
