Responsibilities

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Identify and prevent on-site hazards by ensuring work areas are clearly marked with cones, signs, etc.
• Gather and carry brush to the truck/chipper.
• Load and unload logs, brush, debris, etc. with or without the use of machinery.
• Work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.).
• Willing to work on weekends, if needed, for storm damage and other emergencies.
• Operate and maintain necessary tools and equipment.
• Help enforce safety practices for all crew members.
• Report punctually each day prepared to work.
• Think critically and use discretion to ensure jobs get completed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Learn to properly identify trees and bushes.
• Perform other tasks as required or assigned.
