About the position

The Group SVP Creative Director, Art at Day One Agency is a leadership role focused on driving creative excellence and innovation within the agency. This position requires a strong creative leader with extensive experience in managing design-centric teams and projects, ensuring that the agency produces culturally relevant and impactful work. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Chief Creative Officer and mentor a talented team, fostering a highly collaborative and inspiring work environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire internal design and studio teams to elevate their work.
• Lead by example and engage hands-on with creative projects.
• Champion big ideas and push creative thinking to new heights.
• Develop concepts that connect with culture and resonate with audiences.
• Manage and mentor Creative Directors, guiding their professional growth.
• Execute creative and brand vision for clients and the Day One brand.
• Oversee multiple projects, clients, and budgets while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with agency leadership and provide solutions to challenges.
• Review and refine project briefs, plans, and staffing to ensure team success.

Requirements

• 13+ years of experience leading a design-centric creative team.
• Experience working across disciplines and bridging departmental gaps.
• Proven ability to ideate and develop breakthrough concepts.
• Expertise in managing multiple scopes of work and project deliverables.
• Comfortable with complex assignments and leading diverse teams.
• Strong visual skills for ideation, presentations, and pitches.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an inspiring leadership style.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
