About the position

The Group Creative Director (Art) is a hands-on creative leader responsible for inspiring and guiding a team of creatives in a remote-first, culture-first brand and communications agency. This role emphasizes creative leadership, team management, innovative execution, and new business development, with a focus on delivering impactful work for B2B clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creative direction, team collaboration, and a passion for fostering a positive agency culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the creative team, driving innovative solutions and visionary thinking.
• Mentor team members to help them develop their skills and advance their careers.
• Collaborate with strategy and marketing to align creative work with client goals.
• Partner with account managers to understand client requirements and accurately scope projects.
• Contribute to the agency's strategic direction and growth as part of the leadership team.
• Foster a culture of inclusion and mutual respect within the team and agency.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback during the creative process.
• Monitor project profitability and timely delivery, ensuring financial health.
• Recruit and onboard new talent for the creative team.
• Develop innovative ideas and concepts that captivate clients.
• Craft compelling narratives for client presentations and pitches.
• Participate in new business conversations and pitch for new clients.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience as a designer.
• 5+ years working with B2B clients, leading branding projects, and managing creative teams.
• Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines and managing budgets.
• Expertise in web design (UI/UX) and extensive experience in print, web, video, and digital.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Figma, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Dreamweaver (or other HTML/CSS applications) is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts, trends, and platforms.
• Final candidates must pass a background check.
