About the position

The Group Creative Director (GCD) at Comcast is a senior leadership role responsible for driving innovative and transformative creative work across various channels. This position requires a proven leader who can effectively communicate and motivate teams while collaborating with senior leadership to enhance client relationships and agency performance. The GCD will oversee the creative vision for Comcast's accounts, ensuring the production of high-quality content that resonates with global culture and technology. The role emphasizes mentorship, team growth, and the cultivation of a culture focused on exceptional creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Bring fresh and groundbreaking conceptual thinking in partnership with IMC to create transformative work.
  • Push creative thinking to new and unprecedented places while having a plan to implement it.
  • Implement the overarching creative direction and vision for the Comcast account(s) and/or team(s).
  • Apply strong working knowledge of social and digital platforms and technologies to briefs and proactive opportunities.
  • Skillfully produce work across various platforms and mediums: social, digital, film, OOH, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide leadership through building the vision and mission of the agency.
  • Manage multiple projects, partners, and budgets within deadlines.
  • Determine assignments, evaluations, and incentives for the creative department.
  • Ensure the growth of individual team members.
  • Shape the general direction of the work produced for any given partner.
  • Build strong relationships with multi-levels of clients and deepen their knowledge of interactive marketing.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in major advertising awards (Cannes Lions, The One Show, Clio Awards).
  • Robust background in all forms of creative marketing communications.
  • Strong leadership experience running large teams.
  • Experience across storytelling and content, traditional and nontraditional marketing experiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing and technology integration.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in creative production.
