About the position

Dentsu Creative US is seeking a Group Creative Director to lead and inspire teams in the development and execution of performance-driven creative concepts. This role is pivotal in overseeing the creative process from conceptualization to execution, particularly in the realm of paid social media, online video (OLV), banners, and display advertising. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tech-focused accounts, as the work will involve products with feature rollouts. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director (ECD) of Performance Creative, the Group Creative Director will ensure that all creative choices align with messaging strategies, elevate the quality of work, and meet both client and financial objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring direct reports, fostering a supportive culture, and serving as a key client-facing representative. You will nurture client relationships, present and sell creative concepts, and act as a liaison between clients and creative teams. The position requires a proactive approach to seeking out new messaging innovations and technologies to cultivate fresh concepts and promote innovative ideas. A deep understanding of unique audience segments and the ability to create relevant content for each is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire creative teams to excel beyond the brief.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in ideating and executing performance creative concepts.
  • A digital portfolio showcasing performance campaigns and executions.
  • Strong strategic and creative skills, including written, visual, and conceptual abilities.
  • Experience working with clients in the financial industry.
  • Excellent client service and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various technology platforms and media channels.
  • Experience managing multiple teams.
